I Started in dogs in  1979 with my  wife Wendy with Chow Chows. We have bred 51 homebred Champion chows. We used the name Koby Kennels . My mother in law Florence Elkins and my sister  in law Bea Naysmith bred and showed Maltese and Shih Tzu for nearly 30 years and collectively we have produced around 90 champions including many Group and Specialty winners .

We had French Bulldogs  for 15 years after  we retired from showing chows and then took about 7 years off from breeding and showing due to my wifes  health  issues.

In 2012 we decided to try it back in the ring and ventured into English bulldogs  for our last "hurrah" and purchased a male puppy which turned out to be WD at two Specialties under breeder judges. After not having a litter for 13 years we decided to do one breeding which produced an outstanding litter. One female was a group winner at 9 months and two littermates were winners at other Specialties. 

 I judge several Non Sporting breeds and a few Toy breeds.
