I have been involved with showing and breeding dogs for as long as I can remember having bred and shown my first champion at the age of seven. I worked with Anne Rogers Clark for 11 years, and then became a successful professional handler for over 35 years showing top ranked dogs in many of the groups.

Always appreciating the breeding aspect of dogs, I was a successful breeder of German Wirehaired Pointers, Italian Greyhounds, and Pomeranians mostly under my kennel name of Cassio. As a handler I advised many of my clients with their breeding programs and enjoyed grading their litters and working with those special ones to develop them into show dogs.

In 1965, I started a commercial kennel (Cassio Pet Resort & Training Center) in Newtown, CT where we offer boarding, grooming, training, water sports and other fun activities. Since 1980 I have been an active member and held various positions in the Greenwich Kennel Club, Inc.

In 2002 I retired from handling to pursue a career of judging dogs. I enjoy it and currently judge the Sporting, Hound, Herding, Toy and Nonsporting Groups, Jr Showmanship, Miscellaneous and Best in Show.
