I have been involved in the sport of purebred dogs for 50 years or so.... judging (AKC) for  28 years. My first breeds were Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies and Samoyeds, but my primary breed was Akitas for many years. I now love 2 Havanese. I have bred over 100 AKC champions in the two breeds (Akitas and Alaskan Malamutes) as well as two all breed Best in Show winners, many Working Group winners and a Multi Best in Show Akita Brace (all breed).  I have been honored to have judged National Specialties in several breeds, having been invited to judge the Havanese National and the Akita National three times.  I currently compete in Conformation, Obedience, Rally and Agility.  I enjoy judging and helping newcomers in the sport.
