Judy Doniere was born into a family who loved all animals. Among all the domestic ones, her family fostered exotic animals for the Toledo Zoo. It was a common sight for friends to see Chimps, Lions, Tigers, Cougars, Wolves, Leopards, etc. running around the house along with dogs and kids.

A Doberman became a permanent member of the family when Judy was six years old and from that day to the present, she has had one or several.

She married Pat in 1955 and he bought her a Dobe puppy for a wedding present and that was the beginning of a lifetime in the dog show world. Their first litter was whelped in 1957 and our recent litter was whelped in the spring of 2002. Many Champions have been bred by the Doniere's whose Kennel name is Toledobes Reg. One of our recent famous bitches is Ch. Toledobes Serenghetti, who at the age of 8 1/2 still looks like she could take on all contenders, is the all time top winning Doberman bitch in history and also the top winning Working Group female of all time.

In 1975 Judy applied for judging approval. First with Dobermans and then on to the Hound Group. The Sporting Group was next and to date, she is approved as judge of 5 complete Groups. Sporting, Hounds, Working, Terriers and Toys.

Together with husband, Pat, they are judging most every weekend and it's a wonderful hobby to do something you love.
