Patty Sosa obtained her first Bullmastiff at age 7 as a pet in New York. Since that time, she bred, owned and showed Bullmastiffs for over 20 years, first under the Ragtime Kennel Name and then under the Bandog prefix. Bandog under Patty’s breeding produced some 30 AKC Bullmastiff Champions. Patty has also bred Rottweilers and French Bulldogs, having bred well over 100 AKC Frenchie Champions including dogs who have won 43 All-Breed Best in Show over 400 Non-Sporting Group 1's and the Breed at 5 National Specialties. Patty showed other breeds in the late 1980’s mostly Working, Toys and Non-Sporting breeds.

Patty is a member of the American Bullmastiff Association, is Treasurer of the Louisiana Kennel Club, and is a Board member of the French Bull Dog Club of America and a member of  the Morris & Essex KC. She had the honor of judging the 2009 FBDCA National Specialty and the 2010 French Bulldog Club shows in Sweden and in Moscow, Russia, as well as the  2014 French Bulldog Club of Victoria Championship Show in Melbourne, Australia.  Patty considers herself first and foremost a breeder / owner / handler.
