Mr. Robert H. Slay (DECEASED)
Bob resides in Cary, NC. He is a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi and the US Naval Officers School. Bob was elected Vice-President of the American Kennel Club and served until retirement in 2004. He was state chairman of the Morris Animal Foundation and was a member of the original Steering Committee for the Dog Museum of America. Purebred dogs have been a major part of Bob's life for over 40 years. The Slays bred, owned and showed German Shepherd Dogs. Bob served as President and Show Chairman for several all-breed and specialty clubs and is currently President of the Cary Kennel Club. He has judged throughout the US and overseas. He is currently approved to judge all Sporting, Working and Herding breeds and 8 Terrier breeds.
