Finishing the apprenticeship, I jumped right into professional handling, I have been honored to have handled dogs to Best In Show in all 7 groups, winning more than 200 Bests In Show in total. I made a major career shift and began working at Procter and Gamble in Marketing Strategies, and then moved to a new assignment in External/Public Relations. My responsibilities were: Project Manager for the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, The Eukanuba Breeder's Stakes, The Eukanuba Hall, and Eukanuba Future Star (all breed futurity).

    Now retired from Procter and Gamble, I have become a judge for ore than 50 breeds across 5  groups, the Working group and Best In Show as well as Junior Showmanship. I enjoy being active with the Dayton Kennel Club as President and  Show Chairman. I am married to Dr. Jeff Cushman and together we have 5 children ranging in age from 31 to 18 and we also share our home with several Chihuahua and a Doberman.
